Vanessa Hudgens may be trying to distance herself from her High School Musical character, but it seems she has more in common with Gabriella than you can imagine – even breaking into song mid-conversation.
The singer/actress, who starred alongside real life boyfriend Zac Efron in the hit Disney franchise, admits that being in a musical can have lasting effects, and she is often caught out singing for no particular reason.
“I hope people don’t expect that I always break out into song mid-conversation – but I normally do anyway,” she told Showbiz Spy. “When people hear someone singing and they look to see who it is – it is usually me.”
“I can’t help it – that’s what being in musical movies does to you.”
Van recently admitted she is “bored” of playing a school girl in movies.
