Kenny Ortega , the director of Disney’s High School Musical movies, has reportedly dropped out of the remake of “ Footloose ,” which was originally to star Zac Efron . Zac dropped out of the project in March, saying that he wanted to “ shake things up ” and try new things, and wouldn’t be doing anymore singing and dancing movies. That is according to Vanessa’s ‘Sucker Punch’ co-star Abbie Cornish, who sat down for an interview with hitfix.com to talk about the movie.

As well as talking about it, she also mentioned her ‘Sucker Punch’ cast mate Vanessa, check out what was said.

“I’d spoken to another “Sucker” lady, Vanessa Hudgens, before shooting began and the actress was visibly pumped up about her own character’s massive gun. It turns out her co-stars are in awe of the weapon as well.

“Vanessa definitely has the biggest gun. It’s called ‘the saw’ and one day Jena Malone and I fired that gun off for fun, just for therapy,” Cornish says. “It has this blast of light that is so intense. I can see why she’s so fascinated.”

Ashley recently tweeted that she was going to be Alice in Wonderland for Halloween and was caught yesterday afternoon going Halloween shopping with her boyfriend Scott Speer. They both looked very happy as they headed off to do some last minute shopping in Los Angeles, Ca. The two love birds stopped by Cinema Secrets Halloween Headquarters to pick up decoration’s for Ashley’s home and to pick up a couple of costumes. They even purchased a giant webbed ghost skeleton. What are YOU gonna be for Halloween?

6:52 amThe Bing Event at Scottsdale Fashion Square

Everyone who lives in Arizona knows about Scottsdale Fashion Square and has definitely walked around the mall once or twice before. Its pretty much one of the only things to do besides going to see a movie during the very hot summer months. The mall has had so many stores come and go but I have to admit that it has never looked better (especially with the new Barney’s New York that just opened… but that is a different post altogether). On Thursday October 22nd, the gorgeous Microsoft store opened up in one of the newest wings of the mall. It is located in the Nordstrom wing on the first floor around the Juicy Couture, Tiffany’s and Pottery Barn area. This new store, which is sleek and modern and sells the new Windows 7 along with computers and Xbox’s is the first for Microsoft. For its grand opening, Microsoft decided to put on an event with a performance by Ashley Tisdale. They hired non-other than the best event company in Los Angeles, the Visionary Group, who also happen to be my old co-workers (Hi Rob and Brian). They produced all of the security, lighting, sound and staging for the concert as well as booked the trailers for Ashley and her band. My best friend Kristen Janofsky also worked the event. It was a mini Bolthouse reunion right in the middle of the parking lot of Fashion Square Mall! Ashley performed a 40 minute set and the event was a HUGE success. She had an in-store signing after her performance and the line from the store was almost down to the food court. Another great event from the Visionary Group!
