“TEEN heartthrob Zac Efron touched down in Sydney this morning with his Hollywood IT girl Vanessa Hudgens by his side.

While the 22-year-old actor is in the country for a learn to surf with sunglasses company Oakley his girlfriend and co-star from Disney’s High School Musical franchise was a shock addition to the young stars entourage.

The pair have been dating since the first of the Disney movies in 2006.

The long flight from Los Angeles appear to take its toll on the pair, who walked side by side but did not hold hands as they walked through arrivals Sydney International Airport just after 6.30am.

Efron who was dressed in a relaxed flannelette shirt and pants, was shocked by Sydney’s dismal rainy weather.

After the long flight from Los Angeles, Efron was also keen to stay incognito refusing to remove his glasses.

Jet lagged or not the tween pinup’s trademark hair was perfectly coiffed and the 22-year-old happily flashed his Hollywood smile.

Hudgens meanwhile seemed less impressed, remaining quietly by Efron’s side.

While she may have not been impressed, wearing ripped jeans and a Bollywood-inspired top her stylish spin on causal airport attire did.

The pair will be in Sydney for at least a few days with Efron taking to Bondi’s surf tomorrow as part of the Oakley’s promotion.”

Vanessa Hudgens: New Beastly Merchandise!

Vanessa Hudgens stars as the lovely Linda Taylor in the upcoming Beastly.

Not only will the 21-year-old actress be honored with costar Alex Pettyfer at Showest in March, but CBS has just announced that they’ll have tons of merchandise to accompany the flick!

Some of the highly anticipated merchandise include bags, wallets, figures and bobbleheads, stickers, patches, magnets, buttons, key chains, bookmarks, board games, fragrances, greeting cards, a novel, t-shirts, hoodies, wall art, mood jewelry, costumes, journals, posters and video games, just to name a few!

Opening July 30, the flick follows Kyle Kingson (Pettyfer), the popular kid with a mean streak who ditches a date. His date, Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen), turns out to be a witch who curses him to become everything he hates. The grotesque transformation leaves him with the seemingly impossible task of finding true love (Hudgens) to break the ugly spell.
