They Came form Upstairs is Ashley Tisdale’s upcoming movie. The movie, which opens July 31st, follows a group of kids who have to protect their Maine vacation home from aliens. This summer teen flick’s cast also includes Andy Richter and Doris Roberts. Check out this just released trailer for the movie. Ashley Tisdale’s new album “Guilty Pleasures” will be released June 16th. This album has an edgier, guitar-driven, pop-rock sound, which is new for Ashley. She says, “I’m growing up and this is music I would listen to.” Ashley co-wrote several tracks on the project and admits she vented some past relationship issues in her lyrics. The first single off this project is “It’s Alright, It’s OK” and it will begin radio play and be available on iTunes on April 14th. We wish Ashley the best!

Ashley Tisdale is on the cover of the April ‘09 Cosmopolitan magazine. She is looking great and seems to be trying to break out of the High School Musical box. In the accompanying article she promotes her sophomore album “Guilty Pleasure”, which comes out this spring. Tisdale says that “Guilty Pleasure” will be sexier and edgier than “Headstrong” was. Hopefully it will balance the fact that she is a 23 year old young woman but her fan base still has an average age of about 14.

Ashley has a new spokesmodel gig. She will be the face of ‘Puerco Espin’, THE Italian clothing brand for teen girls! On March 22nd she will be in Milan to debut her ad campaign. When asked about choosing Tisdale, Fabio Castelli, partner and director of the creative marketing group in Five Season said, “For our brand, which is well established in the market, Ashley Tisdale is the perfect choice. She’s now a legend throughout the world, her image is very stylish.”

Congratulations to Ashley! It is great that she has received this endorsement of her status and style!

This next week you have several opportunities to see your favorite High School Musical cast members on televison. The Disney Channel is showcasing its top Disney original TV movies as a lead up for a new show starring Demi Lovato titled-Sonny with a Chance. On Saturday you can watch Corbin Bleu in Jump In! at 4:00pm ET, The Cheetah Girls 2 at 6:00pm and The Cheetah Girls One World at 8:00pm. Then on Sunday you can enjoy replays of the star hosted premieres of High School Musical at 2:00pm, High School Musical 2 at 4:00pm and Camp Rock at 6:00pm. Then the premiere of Sonny with a Chance at 8:00pm.

That’s not all. Of course, you can see or hear Ashley Tisdale on The Disney Channel anytime The Suite Life of Zack and Cody or Phineas and Ferb are on the air. Ashley can also be seen Wednesday at 9am on TNT in Charmed. Zac Efron can be seen Saturday at 7:00pm on the USA network in NCIS and Wednesday the 11th on The Disney Channel Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Kay Cee Stroh will also be on The Disney Channel Wednesday at 7 and 11pm in Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Chris Warren Jr will be on WGN America Thursday the 12th at 6:00pm on Becker.  It is always fun to see your favorite actors in other roles so don’t forget to check these out.

Tonight Suite Life fans can see Ashley Tisdale reprise her role of Maddie Fitzpatrick on The Suite Life on Deck. The Suite Life on Deck is the Disney Channel’s spin-off of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Ms Tisdale rose to fame playing Maddie of the Suite Life of Zack and Cody but she is not part of the spin-off cast.

The basic storyline of tonight’s episode centers around Maddie, who having saved up enough money, coming aboard the S.S. Tipton for a vacation. A prince falls in love with Maddie and wants to marry her! Tune into the Disney Channel Friday, January 16th 8pm E/P for Maddie on Deck.

Ashley is the cover girl for this month’s Shape magazine. She is sporting a tiny, yellow bikini and looking very fit. The article talks about a back injury she sustained a few years ago on the set of “The Suite Life with Zack and Cody”. She knew that to rehab her back and stay in shape for dancing in the High School Musical movies she needed to strengthen her core. Ashley has been working out with a personal trainer for the last 8 months.  Ashley does a combination of cardio and resistance training 3-4 days a week. Ashley is also on the January cover of the sometimes controversial Australian teen magazine Dolly. This is the summer edition of the magazine. The website doesn’t give much information as to what the article is about.  You can check the beautiful picture out here.

Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide’s February edition also has Ashley on the cover. The magazine’s website states, “Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide is a long-time fan of our cover girl, Ashley Tisdale. From her days on The Suite Life With Zack & Cody to her High School Musical fame, to her singing career and beyond, we’ve always admired the star”. The website says there is an article filled with Ashley’s beauty tips and a beautiful photo shoot.

Ashley Tisdale is out of hiding after her recent rhinoplasty a couple weeks ago in Las Vegas. The new nose is, well, thinner and honestly fairly natural looking, at least in these early photos. Just Jared broke the story first awhile back, and of course all the major outlets are running pics today.
