Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer will be honored later tonight at the 2010 ShoWest Gala as the Stars of Tomorrow.
The duo recently caught up withVariety to chat about the honor, their new movie Beastly, and what’s next for the both of them. Check it:
Vanessa on her next movie, Sucker Punch: “[Sucker Punch was] the most intense physical training I’ve ever had in my life. We’d start with three hours of martial arts and break — and I’d pass out. Then I’d wake up with a Navy SEAL for more. The first day I was carrying 135 pounds — and I’d pass out again. Tuesdays and Thursdays we were on stages shooting the guns. It’s six movies in one, and you’re the same character in each story, but my traits change.”
Alex on becoming a horror movie expert: “I would watch the TV behind me in the mirror [in the makeup chair for Beastly] and saw probably 40 horror movies. The makeup guys were obsessed with horror movies and taught me about those with great prosthetics.”
